Thank You - Conant Park Clean Up Crew

We would like to thank everyone who helped clean up Conant Park last weekend! It was a daunting task, but we luckily had good weather and a big group of very hard workers. We invite everyone to take a drive over to Conant Park and see the results! Who knows, maybe we'll have an outdoor class there this summer!

Rick Findlay, VP of the Littleton Conservation Trust, wrote the following "Letter to the Editor" in this week's Independent:

Plum Blossom Warriors
To the editor:

The Littleton Conservation Trust would like to thank the owners of Plum Blossom Tai Chi Kung Fu Academy, their students and their families for spearheading the clean-up of Conant Park. The Park was decimated by the December ice storm and only a small army, which we had, could have accomplished what we did.

I would also like to thank Park steward Carl Rivenberg (Landmark Construction and Maintenance) and his wife Sherrill for providing the backhoe and spring water; and Subway for their donation of sandwiches.

It was hot, strenuous work, but I think we all had a good time. I personally enjoyed seeing all the new faces.
