Master Puyot Workshop Series - September 10th

Intro to 8 Step Mantis (Form and Function)
“7 Star Praying Mantis is to a machine gun, as 8 Step Mantis is to a Bazooka.” - Master Puyot
This rare and deadly style of Praying Mantis Kung Fu is not only hard to find, but highly effective in it’s application. Created by Wei Xiaotang, 8 Step Mantis uses a hit/throw...hit/throw...hi​t/throw approach to it’s function. Master Wei humbly shared his knowledge with worthy students after using his martial arts in combat to escape Korea, and later Mao’s wrath in Communist China, to Taiwan.

In this workshop, you will learn the ‘7 Hands Form’ (Qi Shou) from 8 Step Mantis Boxing, as well as the application, and proper execution of each move.

Gun Disarms
Have you ever had a gun to your head? If you did, would you know what to do? With one chance to save yourself or your family, will YOU make the right move? Will you remember what you’re supposed to do, or will you forget? This workshop will teach you how to effectively and confidently disarm a gun from an assailant. The techniques in this workshop are simple, easy to apply, and the best part - you’ll remember them if you ever need them.

All material taught in this workshop has been live fire tested with airsoft guns by the San Diego Police Department to ensure success and survivability under duress. Sign up today and don’t put your family’s lives in the hands of second rate techniques.

Chinese Saber - Form and Function (Yan Qing Dao)

The Saber is considered the Tiger of Kung Fu weapons. It’s ferocious and vicious attack methods are why it became one of the more popular weapons in China. Yan Qing Dan Dao, Dan Dao is Single Saber (versus using two at a time) is named after the famous hero in Chinese lore - Yan Qing.

Master Puyot will be teaching both form and function of this fearsome weapon. You will learn to be a whirling dervish with this blade in your hand.

There are 12 slots available in each workshop. Sign up for all 3 and get your saber free. Open to Public (students of Plum Blossom first then family members). Workshops is also open for Adults (all levels) and Kids (Purple & Up). Priority will be given to those doing all three, and Grand Dragons. From there, other students then family members. If any slots remain, we will open it to the public.
